Review by hotel critic
A Family-Friendly Stay at Park LaneOur family recently enjoyed a stay at Park Lane during our trip to Medicine Hat, and I wanted to share our experience. As an eco-resort reviewer and a dad who loves the outdoors, I appreciate places that cater to families. The hotel itself may not look luxurious from the outside, but the newly renovated rooms truly surprised us. With modern amenities and a comfortable bed, it was just what we needed after a day of exploring. At just $50/night during the busy WCRE season, it felt like a steal. What stood out most for my family were the family-friendly amenities. My daughters, aged 10 and 12, enjoyed the indoor pool while I took photos of their fun moments. The breakfast options were also pleasant, with enough variety to keep everyone happy. We've stayed at various motels around, but Park Lane provided great value for our money. It's a welcoming base for exploring the area, especially with kids in tow. I would definitely consider returning in the future, as long as rates remain reasonable. If you're traveling with family, this hotel is worth checking out.
